About the White Gnome
The white gnome portraits a bearded dwarf standing and making the V sign with his right arm stretched in front of him. This white gnome sculpture is an original creation of Ottmar Hörl in 2012. The artist produced this white gnome as a response to the regular riots instigated by hooligans after the football games. The Victory Gnome represents a communicative impulse as well as a supporters’ trophy for peaceful interaction. Our white gnome comes with a Hörl Certificate of Authentification engraved at the bottom of its left foot. Our gnome art sculpture is a toxic-free, weatherproof, break-proof plastic. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. More details on Ottmar Hörl – Victory Gnome (2012) – White:

About the V gesture Symbol
The V sign has different hand gestures: one with the palm faced outwards and another one with the palm inwards. The V-sign has various interpretations, depending on the cultural context. The gesture mainly implies a feeling of happiness whether using it palm facing outward or palm facing forward. The sign also just means two,” such as when ordering for most people. However, in the UK, the gesture with the back of the hand facing the other person is highly insulting. In contrast, it refers to Victory” in the US. Also, in most of the East Asian countries, the V sign is a famous pose in photographs.
