About Mackintosh and the Roses
Charles Rennie Mackintosh was an innovative Scottish artist from the British Arts and Crafts movement in the mid-19th century. Mackintosh’s work accentuates an interesting combination of Japanese and Celtic art. The artist’s textile unique rose design (every rose of the design is different) was used in murals and on prints.
